How to Make Rosemary Olive Hair Oil January 10 2013
Our rosemary olive hair oil recipe is developed for those with normal to dry hair. This invigorating blend can be used to strengthen brittle hair as well as nourish itchy, flaky scalp.
What you'll need:
- 1 ounce extra virgin olive oil
- 1/2 ounce Jojoba Oil
- 30 drops rosemary essential oil
- 2 oz amber glass dropper bottle
Add olive oil, jojoba oil, and rosemary essential oil to the two ounce bottle. Close bottle cap tightly. Gently shake the bottle for approximately ten seconds. Depending on the length of your hair, massage approximately 1/2 to 1 teaspoon of the hair oil into the scalp. Brush hair to evenly disperse the oil. Cover your hair with a shower cap, then wrap a towel over the cap. This will ensure your head stays warm to activate the oil. Allow the oil to penetrate and condition the hair for approximately one hour before finally washing your hair. To detangle hair, comb or run fingers through hair while it is still saturated with the oil. What you should experience afterward is a naturally beautiful shine emanating from your newly-revived hair.
