We are constantly exploring ways to incorporate sea buckthorn oil's restorative properties into our skin care recipes. We love how this naturally anti-inflammatory oil, full of essential fatty acids, tocopherols, phytosterols, and carotenes, helps to restore balance in damaged and problematic skin. Russian cosmonauts were known to apply sea buckthorn oil on their skin to help minimize the damaging effects of radiation burns. In addition to sea buckthorn oil, we included other highly-nourishing ingredients, such as argan oil, apricot kernel oil, and hazelnut oil, into the recipe. The result is a light, easily-absorbed face oil that can be used day or night.
